TESIECS: Towards Enhancing Sustainable and Innovative Environmental Change Solutions
Background:
Co-funded by the European Union, the TESIECS Intra-Africa mobilities project facilitates degree seeking and credit seeking student academic mobilities among its African partner institutions to promote creative, locally contextual solutions to climate and environmental challenges. Women, the disadvantaged, the differently-abled, and minority groups are encouraged to apply. TESIECS encourages inclusive learning through provision of additional support to people with special needs.
TESIECS Aims to:
• Promote equal learning opportunities for Master’s and doctoral students in Southern
Africa with a focus on climate change and adaptation.
• Encourage inclusive learning opportunities for Master’s and doctoral students with a
focus on social and environmental impact assessment to overcome gender and
vulnerable population learning disparities in Southern Africa.
• Contribute to sustainable and equitable environmental development by building
